Whitney Shaw, MSN, FNP-C was born and raised in Dallas Texas where she attended Highland Park High School and Southern Methodist University (SMU). She obtained a Bachelor of Science, in Anthropology receiving a Departmental Distinction for her thesis of “Gender Inequality in HIV/AIDS and Obstetric Fistulae”. She then attended Texas Christian University receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and worked as a RN in the Emergency Department for 5 years at Baylor University Medical Center. She continued her education in 2018 at UT Arlington and obtained a Master’s of Science in Nursing and joined NTIDC as a Nurse Practitioner in 2019. She is married to her husband Bennett, and they enjoy spending time with their sweet dog, Beau.
